TJ GETZ in methodology, seniors and kids

If I'm honest with you (and I'm not sure that I really want you to know this, but in an effort to be transparent, here goes) I didn't ever really desire to shoot children photography. It's hard, kids are unpredictable, and they run out of steam way sooner than adults do (or at least the adults know how to hide it better). But as I journey through the many paths of my creative efforts, I find myself falling in love with children photography. And those very things which used to grate against my "creative nature" I find don't matter nearly as much as capturing the unadulterated laughter of a child, the carefree "I'm-not-tied-to-a-timeline" way of thinking and the rejuvenating spirit they leave you with, as you change shirts from a sweat-fill, heart racing session.

The very thing I thought I didn't like, has been a hidden gem and beautiful blessing.
