WHAT IF CONFERENCE 1.0 (my journey into healthy thinking…)

WHAT IF CONFERENECE: CABO MEXICO
Earlier this year, I took a leap and attended the first ever "WHAT IF" conference.
I didn't have the extra money and I wasn't planning on attending a conference this year. But as I read through their vision, the message of these innovators drew me in. I was a seeker looking for my next step, and their spirit captured my own and I knew I had found a group I wanted to be part of.

The conference was set up for photographers who saw themselves as artist-preneurs, but in truth it was a "life conference" ripe for any creative business. A common thread I found throughout each session was the creation of awareness between healthy and unhealthy ways of thought. There were no seven steps to instant success or "easy-street" inspiration here. The innovators encouraged me with sound business and life principles, offering a strong foundation in mindset management, and how to focus dreams into existence through hard work, perseverance and dedication.

I WANT TO DREAM...DREAM WITH ME!
I don't want to be inspired with the latest techniques, duplicating someone else's vision. I want to create my own. I want to add to the dreamers, innovators, and creative-shakers of my generation. You can't do life alone, and yet, you cannot truly help others effectively until you help yourself first. If you're a fellow artist-prenur and this message resonates with you, then I encourage you to become part of the WHAT IF community.

COME JOIN US!
This summer on July 23-25, the WHAT IF magic will unite again, creating the next "merging of the minds" in Portland Oregon. There you will meet the dreamers behind the What If movement, Jenn & Steve Bebb, along with many others who will become sojourners with you in your creative travels.

Your creative journey awaits. Take the leap!

much love,
-TJ

TOWN Greenville, Fashion Shoot! (Fashion Photography, Greenville, SC)

We are pleased to announce our debut "fashion appearance" in the TOWN magazine for Greenville, SC.
We had an amazing model to work with along with the beautiful and talented businesswoman Kym Petrie, who help style the shoot. Her first hand experience in the fashion world made her expertise invaluabl. We couldnt' have done it without the wonderful team of people surrounding us, including my wonderful assistant Maureen who works with me daily.

We are featured three times in the 2012 January issue of TOWN Magazine for Greenville, SC.
The opening double page spread, features the latest advertisement for Eric Brown Design; a creative collaborative effort between Eric's studio and our own. On Page 49 of the January TOWN Magazine, the ad featuring the clothing of various vendors and business in Greenville, can be seen. It is titled "Modern Classic".

Finally, on page 37, you can see a bridal ad featuring our very own photography studio. Hunter is our chosen bride in this months issue.

looking forward,
-TJ

*These are other options we gave the editor as choices in the advertisement.

*This was the final image chosen to run in the 2012 January issue of TOWN magazine. To see the full write up and final design, find your nearest TOWN magazine and look on page 49.

The Mask: day-after creative session (Greenville, SC)

A day-after session? You may ask. Yes, in fact it is. Creativity and the unique is something we strive for with each of our clients. "Tags", such as engagement, couples in-love, bridal, etc... are just ways for you and I to understand what type of session you're looking for. However, none of these session titles can express the creativity that will be added to each of one of these photo shoots.

We like to "look behind the curtain", and find unique ways to tell a familiar tale. In this image, we have our groom in his favorite mexican fighter mask (much to the chagrin of his beautiful bride). And the tattoo on his forearm has the date of their wedding date. (yes, she has a matching one)

If you're going to pay money for a session, and you want that "something different", you've found the right studio. We won't always use a fighter mask, but we promise that whatever the idea is, the final images will be fun, & creative.

looking forward,
-TJ
