Fall is in the air...

We shot this a few years ago for a couple, during an e-session, and it's been a favorite of many since. With fall almost on top of us, a certain creative nostalgia begins to enter my veins, morphing summer ideas into fall delight.

This past weekend, I just returned from our first father-son camping trip with Asher, in the mountains of North Carolina. We arrived late at night, after shooting an engagement in Table Rock State Park. He sung the theme song to bob-the-builder the whole time we setup the tent, and later launched into the theme for Disney's Jungle Junction during a treasure hunt. He fell asleep in my arms in front of the campfire, and hid like a lion in the underbrush awaiting his prey... You never really know what's going to happen until you do it, and Fall is the perfect time of year to try "it".

much love,
-TJ

Yes, I know the Jungle Junction song from when he was over last week! In fact, it was stuck in my head this morning, much to Isaiah's delight:) Ash makes me smile!

His imagination is amazing. I felt like he is a caricature of the boys you see in cartoons, his eyes all wide and big, him singing songs oblivious to everyone else around him. He's just a pure delight. I love him like crazy!! He makes me smile too. :)
